Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake
Yields two cakes.
Batter Topping
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Topping
½ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. chopped walnuts
¾ c. chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease two 9” cake pans.

In large bowl cream butter and sugar.

Blend in sour cream.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

Add vanilla, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix well.

Layer ¼ of batter into each cake pan.

Sprinkle each with ¼ of the topping.
-
Repeat.

Bake for approximately 35–40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
