Neshama Tuition:

Our values-based tuition model follows a sliding scale to ensure all families can access a meaningful Jewish education. We invite each family to contribute something meaningful and sustainable within the suggested ranges. Tuition can be paid monthly throughout the year or upfront at the start of the school year.

We will gradually increase tuition over three years to move Neshama toward financial sustainability. While Congregation Beth Shalom will continue to underwrite the program, our goal is for tuition to cover most costs, primarily staff salaries.

A phased tuition model is necessary to ensure Neshama's sustainability and longevity. Parents need to understand that without their financial partnership, we cannot continue to offer this meaningful educational experience. Although the cost may seem high initially, it ranges from approximately $80 to $180 per month when broken down. For students in grades 4–6, the cost is roughly $12.50 to $22.50 per session, which includes Sunday and midweek Hebrew classes, as well as B’nai Mitzvah preparation.

Tuition Rates for 2025–2026:

*Includes B’nai Mitzvah preparation and midweek Hebrew. Eliminates the existing cost of b'nai mitzvah expense.

Payment Instructions:

At the CBS payment portal, under TYPE please select EDUCATION PROGRAM from the pull down menu.  Enter the total amount of tuition for the year.  If payment is for more than one student, please combine and enter the names under PAYMENT NOTES.

You can pay in full or select payments. In this example below, payments are spread over 12 months.  It will divide the total in the AMOUNT box for you by 12)
